The restaurant of Petroto is expecting you from early in the afternoon till late at night, always warm and full of aromas, with the traditional and full of flavours dishes of Mrs. Froso, who is ready to acquaint you with the peculiar cuisine of the area.

The menu is planned depending on the season and the availability of the ingredients. We try to get most of our products from local producers or from our own vegetable garden.

You should taste our renowned pies with handmade pastry sheet, vegetable pie, chicken pie, cheese pie, leek pie, mushroom pie with mushrooms gathered in the woods of Zagori, minced meat pie, which is our speciality, the renowned grouse pie as well as flour pie, which is the trademark of the area.

Every day we offer different cooked dishes with select fresh ingredients, like giaprakia, pork meat in orange juice, pork meat with leeks and celery, beef with mushrooms, beef with oil-oregano sauce, soutzoukakia, coq au vin as well as wild boar stifado stew or with oil-oregano sauce.

Mention should also be made of the grilled food, such as kontosouvli, lamb chops, pansetta, grilled meat balls, chicken fillet and many more, with the meat rigorously chosen, as well as of the wine labels which are harmoniously combined with our dishes and are selected among local vine-growers and wineries of the broad area.

There is also the possibility of preparing special-diet meals (for diabetics, gluten-free, etc.) under the care of a special dietician, after arrangement upon booking, as well as the possibility of packed lunches.

We expect you in order to offer you unique taste experiences either by the fireplace during the winter months or under the vine-arbour of our yard in the summer.
